Sunflower Just Got Even Better

Chris Williams

Today, I'm excited to announce exciting changes to our Diaper Service's pricing. The cost of our Sunflower Diaper service is now $21/week (was $25) and our Half Stash Service is $15/week (was $18) . The price savings will be automatic for all current subscribers starting today.  In addition to these price reductions, we're happy to announce the following changes:

  • No Startup Fee. You don't like it, we don't like it - it's gone.
  • Introducing: 24 Hour Enough Stash Guarantee. Subscribers who need more diapers before their next delivery can request more and we'll bring more within 24 hours of the time you contact us, excluding weekends. To be honest, this situation hasn't happened yet. But when it does, we'll make sure you have what you need at no additional charge.
  • No contract or minimum order. This isn't a change. Just a reminder. Once you subscribe to service, you have control over your orders. You can skip weeks, cancel, change service options any time.

Why the changes?
Thanks for asking! Two main reasons:

Fuel costs: We set initial prices based on a variety of factors, including similar services and the costs of running the service. A major factor in our initial pricing was the cost of fuel, which is currently about half the cost projected late last summer. We feel that passing along that savings is both the right thing to do and allows us the chance to add more value.

Competitive pricing: With the new pricing, the cost of our Newborn size comes in at $.41/per diaper (potentially less with the Enough Stash Guarantee).  This makes the cost of diapering with Sunflower equal to and, in some cases, cheaper than a number of the premium eco-brands while continuing to add the benefits of cloth diapers for babies and the earth.
